Automatische Karabijn 2

A follow up to the previous weapon of the same name, this designed satisfied me a lot more. It uses a very complex feeding mechanism wherein rounds are spiraled out of a can-shaped magazine on the side of the weapon, and shifted inline with the bolt for loading into the chamber. I called this weapon the "Blikopener" (Dutch for "can-opener") for its tin-can-like magazine.

Exploratory sketches. Note the side-mounted pan magazine that was eventually replaced by the vertical "tin can" magazine.
